A container, key dish, jewelry box and hideaway in which to store the most precious objects and memories. Sottofondo consists of two modular and stackable base elements:
a marble container and a leather cover. The marble dug at the lathe and the concave shape of the leather stiffened by ancient techniques bring to mind the burrows and the holes made by animals and man to hide objects dear to them.
